("SafePave", "we", "us", "our")

1. WARRANTY
Subject to the terms, limitations and exclusions set out in this document, Clever Building Products warrants that
SafePave® products supplied by us will, for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of purchase, be free from
manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty applies only where the SafePave® products:
• are stored, handled and installed in accordance with SafePave® instructions
• are used in their intended application
• have not been modified or altered
• form part of a correctly designed raised floor system
This warranty applies solely to the SafePave® product supplied and does not extend to the overall flooring system or
installation.

2. PRODUCTS COVERED
This warranty applies to:
• SafePave® Reinforcement Tape (SPRT)
• SafePave® Structural Support (SSS)
• SafePave® Structural Support (SSS-E)
Each product is designed as a reinforcement component within a multi-component raised floor assembly.

3. WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty period commences on the date of purchase and continues for twenty-five (25) years.
Where products are incorporated into a building project, the warranty period will not exceed 25 years from the original date of
supply.

4. Clever Building Products OBLIGATIONS
If Clever Building Products determines that a product is defective and covered by this warranty, Clever Building Products will, at
its sole option:
• repair the product
• supply replacement product of equivalent specification, or
• refund the original purchase price of the defective product
The remedy provided above is the exclusive remedy under this warranty.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clever Building Products will not be liable for:
• costs of removal or reinstallation
• labour costs
• access equipment or site costs
• damage to tiles or other building materials
• project delays
• loss of profits or revenue
• indirect, consequential, or economic loss
Clever Building Products total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the SafePave®
product supplied.

6. SYSTEM PERFORMANCE DISCLAIMER
SafePave® products are designed to enhance the structural performance of brittle flooring materials. However, SafePave®
products form only one component of a raised floor system.
does not warrant the performance of:
• pedestal systems
• wind uplift restraint systems
• tile or stone materials
• adhesives or bonding systems not supplied by SafePave®
• structural substrates
• waterproofing systems
The design and performance of the overall flooring system remain the responsibility of the project designer, engineer, installer
and building owner.

7. INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
This warranty applies only if the SafePave® products are:
• installed in accordance with SafePave® installation instructions
• installed onto compatible materials
• installed under suitable environmental conditions
• applied to clean, dry surfaces free from contaminants

Clever Building Products reserves the right to reject warranty claims where installation procedures have not been followed.

8. STORAGE AND HANDLING
Products must be stored:
• flat and protected from distortion
• free from contamination
• protected from moisture and UV exposure before installation
Improper storage or handling may void this warranty.

9. EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• incorrect installation
• improper storage or handling
• misuse, abuse or modification
• structural building movement
• pedestal system failure
• tile manufacturing defects
• impact loads beyond typical service conditions
• exposure to incompatible chemicals
• fire, flood, cyclone, earthquake or other force majeure events
Normal wear, surface marking or cosmetic damage are not covered

11. CLAIM PROCEDURE
To make a warranty claim:
1. Notify Clever Building Products in writing within 30 days of becoming aware of the alleged defect.

2. Provide proof of purchase.
3. Provide photographs and installation details.
4. Provide access for inspection if requested.
Clever Building Products reserves the right to inspect the installation prior to determining warranty eligibility.
Failure to follow the above procedure may result in rejection of the claim

10. WIND UPLIFT AND STRUCTURAL PERFORMANCE
Wind uplift performance depends on the complete system configuration including:
• tile mass
• pedestal design
• restraint clips
• building exposure classification
SafePave® products may improve tile performance but do not constitute a wind-rated system unless specifically engineered and approved as such. (coming soon)

12. PRODUCT TRACEABILITY
For warranty purposes purchasers must retain:
• purchase documentation
• product batch information where available
• installation records
Clever Building Products may request these records when assessing claims.

13. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
This warranty is provided in addition to rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. GOVERNING LAW
This warranty is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising under this warranty will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales
